My item return status was shown as received almost a month ago but till date there is no refund processed. Contacted their live chat twice and they told me they cannot confirm if the item was even received. Keep repeating that they do not have this information and that I can only wait (mindlessly). So what is the point of the returns tracking number and status update? I have been more than patient but it is still appalling to receive such replies. ZERO customer service and after sales service. 1st purchase and never again. Bring your business elsewhere guys.I purchased two items from urban outfitters three days ago, and the customer service emailed me one item is out of stock, I want to cancel my order since they haven't dispatch yet. But they told me I can't cancel my order because it is processing. How ridiculous it is? Last minute inform the customer the item is out of stock and can't make any changes from that. They didn't update their stock in time and let only the customer knows three days after. They don't value customers, what they do just inform you what they are going to do. Really disappointed.The person I spoke with literally made me want to stop shopping there. So rude, soft spoken, didn't care about my issue. Put me on hold for such a long time. Then came back with no answer and said someone else will get back to me via email. It is insane. My issue was in regard to a member tier. At 600 point you become a "gold" member. I have 925 points and am still at the lowest tier level. Complete scam. Rude customer service. I said goodbye and thank you and then she just hung up on me didn't say anything. Ugh so frustrating!I don't have complaints pre COVID but wow are they awful right now! Calling customer service is usually a 15-20 minute wait event. They have lost orders. Their systems says things were delivered that were not and upon investigation the delivery is to the wrong address. Everything ends up on back order and the dates keep being extended. For the overpriced merchandise, it's starting to be not worth it.All im going to say is, fix your fu*king website. Within the first two minutes of getting onto the website the page becomes unresponsive. Its literally impossible to do anything before it shuts down. Sooooo annoying. Once it gives you the option to "wait for the page to respond" even if you wait awhile, like 30 minutes, it still cant seem to be able to fix itself. Very very very frustrating.They are cheaters and canceled my order without any prior information. So i ask for a refund and showed my transaction id and get it back after a week.I returned items back in Jan and they refused to provide the refund. They've tried to say this is my fault as I was missing some of the returned receipts however all items were sent on the same day via their courier service collect+. They owe me £63.36. I was a loyal customer for years I'm really upset, it's clearly a scam they're operating to prevent giving refunds during these hard times and double the profit. 1 of the returns was literally an it that they had sent incorrectly. I don't even know what to do about the situation!Ordered a £50 voucher on 27 Nov for my 16 yr old daughter. I should have oredered an e voucher but thought a proper voucher would be nicer. Regularly checked the tracker to be told Royal Mail experiencing delays. Checked on 23 Dec as still not received with the same message. I emailed straight away to be told that the item had been signed for. I have a complaint pending but after seeing these reviews am not holding my breath. It could be a dodgy delivery driver but how do you prove that? I will never buy vouchers online again or shop at Urban Outfitters.Last Friday I received an email saying my items was delivered. I was home and they never rang the doorbell or even took picture. I was trying to be refunded but I never did. They don't care. The guy said - ok, you can report the local police but your item has been delivered. I'll pay for something I'll never enjoy it. They didn't give me any proof of my "DELIVERED ITEMS". I don't recommend. Also, they said I was going to be refunded. It was a JOKEBought several items from them for Xmas presents for my kids. After several weeks stringing me along with messages about items being back ordered (but still on time for Xmas) they just cancel the orders…On the 20th December. No apologies, no attempt to substitute. Now it's too late to find replacement items. And the ONLY item they were actually able to ship is MIA despite supposedly being shipped on December 11. Thx UO, you screwed me for the last time. Hope your company goes down in flames!Have been a loyal customer of theirs since 2015.
They started using a terrible shipping service as of late called Laser Ship. They'll post the package as delivered yet it never was. This happened more then once. I had to open a complaint with my bank to get a refund. Now I've been banned from shopping there. Not my fault they use a shipping service who can't do their job.HORRIBLE QUALITY-Fell apart at the seam
I bought a pair of jeans that completely fell apart at the seam. A gaping hole as big as my hand. Customer service wouldn't connect me to a manager and would only issue a partial discount. I have NEVER had a pair of jeans do this. Even cheap pairs I bought at discount stores like Belk. They had only been washed 3x and only worn to work. Terrible quality and UO just doesn't care. I would give 0 stars if I could.I chose to write an email, only because of my online experience. (In store staff, and availability is always great)
(All my praise goes to in store employees, especially located in Millenia mall, sweetest genuine people who really do help and don't make checking out feel like just a transacation)
On a different note, my experience with customer support (over the phone) was so unprofessional that I almost just wanted a refund. I don't recommend online shopping here whatsoever just in case of any mishaps.I ordered something for $50 and never received it. They put a hold on my account and when I called, they said I have to file a police report to remove the hold. This means taking time out of my day to go file a police report for a $#*!ty company that doesn't even respect their customer. Will never ever buy from this company again. And please save yourself some time and don't purchase from this horrible company that probably exploits people and over charges.Order 3 albums on November 27th for Christmas gifts. Two came and the third is still not here on January 17th. Got an email saying it would ship on January 7th. Every time I call or chat with them online, they say they will look into why it hasn't shipped yet. Charged my account even though their website says they will not charge until they ship!I love their home stuff and have purchased a fair share but their advisors can be very off putting at times. If you were to call, you would have a much better experience because I have run into agents on chat who are so clueless, they don't even know how to use their own systems and yet are more than willing to argue with you, so you might want to skip that fruitless endeavour and send an email instead. However, when using the online form, you don't get a confirmation email so unless they reply you have no way of referencing it and are stuck waiting for what could be days and weeks only to be back to square one and have to do it all over again. So stick to phone, though if you are outside the US, chances are it will cost you greatly unless you have free minutes in your plan because conversations and phone orders always end up lasting longer than you anticipated.I placed an order on Boxing Day (December 26th), and had to get in touch with customer service on January 5th because I hadn't received any tracking information. I got an email on January 14th saying that they cancelled my order and my card was refunded. Got back in touch with customer service saying that I didn't want to cancel the order. They offered no additional options and didn't reply back to the rest of my questions. This experience was awful.Next day delivery costing £5.99 took *9 days* to arrive and came with a sale label £8 cheaper than the price I paid! This company does not deserve to be in business any longer.Don't even bother. I ordered an item with the expectation it would be delivered by 11/19 per checkout and email confirmation. After talking to three different customer service representatives, I was finally able to find out it didn't ship until 11/18 (ordered 11/13) and wasn't estimated to get delivered until 12/1. Absolutely ridiculous and all they could say was sorry for the inconvenience. Well now Im left without a gift for a friend going out of the country in five days. Never shopping here again.There's no way to make ANY adjustments to your order after it was placed and no one will help you. I placed an order and it was confirmed but then hours later they emailed me saying I needed an authorization from my bank? I can't reach my bank because they are busy dealing with many calls during this pandemic. I have no choice but to cancel my order and one of the items I ordered are now out of stock and I can't get it anymore. NEVER shopping here again, they are not flexible or helpful at all.I ordered a simple top over a month ago, which on their website says "pending" so I can not track it there. Upon looking back in my emails they gave me an odd tracking number from some company that ships, but no company like USPS, UPS or DHL... but someone I never heard of. When looking on that website it just says delayed. After being on hold for over an hour to get a UO representative she says she can't track it either. I would expect a major retailer to be better than this with shipping. Random people on Ebay ship within 2 or 3 days with no problem but Urban Outfitters can't?Urban Outfitters is a company that does all it can to maximize profit, especially surrounding its cheap website template. They are too money-hungry to hire a dedicated dev. Team to create a website that doesn't become unresponsive every time someone clicks on an image to zoom in or click through the reviews. Whenever I use the website, it feels like I'm using an old Toshiba laptop from 2006 that's getting ddos'd.
Honestly, I haven't had any negative experience with the actual clothing I bought from this company, but just keep in mind that Urban Outfitters is fast fashion - too expensive for its own good. The website itself highlights that poor quality.A total nightmare to deal with customer services if you have a problem and want to return the purchase. It states clearly online that my purchase can be returned until april. Yet custoner service say I cant return. The stores are closed due to lockdown there is no facility to get item collected from your house. I dont have printer. Cant get a QR code to hand in locally by relative. I am sheilding. Every store in UK is giving people extra time to return. But their customer services dont think so, pandemic or not. Dont buy from here. Too many other places to spend your money.Please don't buy from this site their hoodie is made very poorly and the site over charged me and Had the audacity to say no refund after I paid $200 for a poorly made hoodie the nerve of them and urban outfitters yall use to be better now you affiliated yourself with sites that make poorly made clothing and I can't even get my refund back3 times with promises, it was all taken care of, NO e gift card for my granddaughter's Christmas, No problem with my cc paying for it. First they wanted verification from my cc company for me to get a number. Actually the cc co, never heard of such a thing and thought the site was a fraud. After 3 different attempts and promises, still no E Gift card! Never again with this outfit!
